1.Manticore (Original Mix)
Ukraine’s league of upcoming producers is quickly growing, with many outstanding productions as a result. One of them is the mighty ‘Manticore’, by rising talent Digital X. Let’s see how long you can resist dancing once this gem comes up.
Last year, Kiev based producer Peter Golub brought us the audio weapons of ‘Raptor’ and ‘Stealth’. This year, he’s back, armed with even more of his original goodness.
‘Manticore’ breaths big-room, building strong and rocking hard. Its melodies get under your skin in no time, and the break will stick with you for a while, long after you’ve first heard it. Quite the anthem.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Soundpiercing is one of the first record labels established at Armada Music that this year celebrates 10 glorious years of success. Digital X impress us once again with his production Manticore that surfaces on Soundpiercing. If you like the pressure cooker atmosphere that is packed with intensity and amazing amount of adrenaline you should not miss Manticore. Its full on energetic pumping driving affair with modern production values but with certain old school feel to it. It bridges the past of the trance genre with epic synths that remind us Jean Michel Jar & Vangelis. His breakdown is atmospheric with melancholic piano melody. But don't be fooled this is not a romantic song. Very soon the huge distorted rave style synthy lead surfaces up to create a hair raising effect and give us goosebumps without doubts. The climax offer us the pay off moment we all wait for to get and get totally and utterly crazy with excitement. Full on euphoric big room trancer that has certain dark bittersweet atmosphere to it. It manages so well to balance the bright side with the dark gothic one without disrupting the equilibrium. Love IT
