Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the finest trance producers that deserve recognition and wider appreciation for his big talent is Rex Mundi. Any track that has his name on it sounds so beautiful and unreal that you can easily guess that this guy invest a lot of time on anything that comes out of his studio. His incredible rich sound textures are tripping but very danceable at the same time. His latest EP comes on Armin's Van Buuren legendary imprint Armind and it includes 3 heavenly made trance monsters waiting to be loved, adored, worshipped and anything in between. First of all is the track that gave the title to this top EP. Its called Explore Heaven and its title reflects well the content. Nobody knows how heaven sounds like but Rex Mundi attempts to do it in the best possible way. Romantic melancholic piano in the breakdown and tougher techier chunkier punchier beats and dark basslines in the main parts of its composition, his track is heavenly melodic and soothing but very danceable and rocking at the same time. Aurelo is such a great title for a track that has the power, intensity and energy of typhoon. 9 long and pleasurable minutes packed with sound adventures that you deserve at least once in your life time to experience. His synths are so breathtaking that you will be easily blown away from them so better get prepared for the unexpected. Hold on Tight and feel the melodies deep inside. His last track is called Voodoo People and the title again describes the hot content. This is the darker, techier, tribal deep prog trance affair that is packed with cool grooves, heart stopping rhythm, exotic ethnic vocal samples and state of the art arrangement.
