MJC and KAF team up for the second single from Maya's album "Comfort" which has been massively celebrated since its release end of June. The first single "Everything" featured Karin Park from Sweden, now it's former Hercules and Love Affair member Kim Ann Foxman. More female support for "Burning Bright" comes from Exploited Records artist Joyce Muniz and her remix. Other remixers are Danish Franskild, UK's Dense&Pika and Citizen!
Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the hottest dj & producer is of course Maya Jane Coles. Her music is really easy going, sweet and travelling. Burning Bright features the fantastic Kim Ann Foxman on vocal duties and you will be really pleased to check her performance on this very strong track. The original is deep melodic tech house with eclectic sound textures, retro references and lyrics that go a little bit deeper than usual. The remixes included will please those hard to satisfy ears that believe that all music sounds the same these days. Citizen remix is a superb deep haunting tech house beauty with use of some of the vocals that mainly used as another instrument rather to sing a long. Joyce Muniz remix moves on the same eccentric deep tech house style that is dark, mysterious, surprising, relaxing, smooth, super groovy and danceable. Its the kind of track that will warm up perfectly your crowd. Dense & Pika remix is the darker more moody underground straight forward techno monster with hard beats to punch you hard. Lastly Franskild remix is the more melodic groovy tech house version with early 90's piano chords, cool synthy melodies and overall upfront electronically charged atmosphere. The package includes the dark techy No Stick that is bouncy packed with old school influences and samples. Eclectic house sounds that are highly Recommended.
