Dimitri Kechagias review: Takt records from Cologne never rests and each week brings amazing releases to our attention. The latest one comes from Matt Keyl. His AG Ep includes two massive cuts AG & Shake Shake that is pretty hard to choose which one is the most effective for your dancefloor. AG is the deeper moodier haunting one with retro influences, spoken vocal samples, chopped singing vocals and dramatic melodies coming and going. Its perfect for classic Detroit techno sets. Shake Shake is the more upfront and the most accessible for non techno followers. The percussion is alive and danceable with tribal drums performing irresistible Latin rhythm that oblige the listener to Shake Shake. Also many singing and spoken vocal samples are sprinkled on top to create a very tasty flavour for the listener. Techno and tech house purists will adore both tracks and I can even imagine house djs adopting Shake Shake. Love IT
