If Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier chamber go into the studio to work on new material for their long-term project Booka Shade, the result is basically so undergroundig and promising at the same time. Numbers like "Mandarine Girl" and "Body Language" have demonstrated this impressively in the past.
A balancing act, just a few electronic music producers can manage for such a period and so successfully.
With their new single "Love Inc" the situation is no different. The forerunner for their much anticipated fifth studio album coming out in early november, will present a credibile club sound with finesse, created from the combination of subtle sound flair with solid handcraft. The track is based on a sample from the 1992 hit "Club Lonely" from Chicago house veteran Lil 'Louis'; their contemporary way to pay homage.
For their corresponding video, Walter and Arno have brought in, for the second time, good friend and art director Thomas Hayo.
Remixes come among others from big names like Butch, Hot Since 82 and Emperor Machine.

Deep tech house is trendy and fashionable and many top artists who work on that style will get the recognition they deserve and Booka Shade of course are on that pathway as well. Their deep tech house track Love Inc is definitely a winner as it is so danceable, irresistible and so sexy too. Excellent percussion, funky basslines, warm strings that add melancholic atmosphere, hypnotic luring feel to their music and the top sample from the early 90's adds that retro back to the old school feel. The remix package is so good that will do huge damage on your floor. The exceptional Butch service a magnificent deeper excursion that is minimal, super groovy, dark and melancholic and definitely very danceable for the late night hours. The very successful Hot Since 82 reshape and remodel the original in his own moody minimal deep progressive house sound with techy feel to it. Rolling beats and basslines carry our bodies way as we surf upon the synthy layers that energise the proceedings. Pure audio pleasure for the eclectic ears. Emperor Machine Remix is long and dark 10 minutes journey with glitzy industrial feel to it with soulful acid funk edges to it. Richie G Remix is the pounding techno version perfect for the energetic underground techno sets. Watch out for the burst of synths in the breakdown is hair raising. Lastly Abby Remix is a minimal deep house version with wonky electrified basslines, distorted vocals, cool melodies and experimental approach. Highly recommended. Love IT
