We team up with our partners at LCD to bring you this outstanding release from Airwave. We could not wish for a better follow up after the success of his artist album Bright lines/Dark lines on JOOF recordings.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved trance producer & dj Airwave presents his magnificent tracks The Wrath of Tambora & Game Of Life. Two absolutely mega huge trance productions that will be classified as classic trance anthems in some years. First of all Wrath of Tambora is 10 minutes epic journey of pulsating beats, driving deep basslines, ethnic instruments with ethnic voices and epic synths. The track is relentlessly building its various layers and carry away the listener to a hypnotic journey that you feel obliged to let yourself go with it. The acid touches reminds us of Airwave's appreciation for psy-trance that seems to be his current favourite trance harbour. Game Of Life is a deep haunting progressive trance beauty that is deeply emotional, cinematic and very inspiring as well. It starts with long intro that includes an excellent spoken vocal sample and then continues with tribal trance beats, emotional piano chords, cinematic atmosphere and hypnotic rhythm that put you in the state of what is termed from scientists as trance. The remixes are top notch from well known regular JOOF artists. First of all Incolumnis oblidge us to dive in his deep sensational warm waters and enjoy his deep prog house meets psy trance remake of Game of Life. Minimal prog beats, bubbly warm basslines, synths that keep the energy going with inspiring sacred atmosphere that offer us a sonic experience not to be missed. Lastly Simon Templar reshapes and reworks in his fantastic style the epic Wrath of Tambora. He goes for a much more upfront driving trance sound that will be adopted from pure trance and psytrance fans. Its the energetic pumping alternative that respects the spiritualiy and inspiring atmosphere of the original. If you still search for the definition of trance better check out this release.
