REVIEW: Showtek ft. We Are Loud & Sonny Wilson - Booyah (remixes) out on Spinnin / Polydor

Turning their hand to numerous styles of production and impressing on every occasion, Showtek's new release ‘Booyah’ marks the culmination of their sound over their phenomenal past year. With the catchiest hook imaginable and complex and impressive production values, this is a tune by producers making a statement as to how far they have come.

Pushing the boundaries that bit further as ever, a stunning reggae influence courses through the veins of this one, courtesy of Sonny Wilson. Catching the attention of many for installing progression into the current electronic landscape, but also looking back to dancehall records that purveyed electronic dance music in previous golden years, this is maturely crafted music-making at its best. And if that’s not enough for the listener to handle already, the brothers seamlessly slide a drum 'n' bass ending for good measure that switches a dance floor fist pumper to all out raver for us to see out the Summer to! A record that merely demands a listen from all dance heads around, check out the full length below!

This new release from Showtek, We Are Loud & Sonny Wilson has seen huge support from the likes of BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe, to the extent that he declared it his Hottest Record on his show and it looks set to continue receiving acclaim as its spreads across the internet, the dancefloors and the airwaves.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The awesome Dutch record label Spinnin records can be easily named as the ultimate HIT Factory responsible for numerous tracks that manage to become mainstream hits and bring to wider audience artists like Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and more. Now Spinnin records makes once again the difference and presents the ex-hardcore/hardstyle Showtek who cleverly transform themselves into the next big thing in the house scene. Their brand new track Booyah has the word mainstream success written all over it. It combines pumping beats, punchy basslines, electro infusions with ragga style vocals. The result first time sounds strange and weird but when the huge hardcore style synthy melody is revealed in the climax you know that nothing will be the same after the success of this mammoth size hit. The second breakdown will surprise you even more as it includes a drum n bass sequence to drive the crowd mad and catch them by surprise. It stormed the dancefloors and reach number 5 in the UK Top 40 and in some months will be inside on the well known pop compilations Now that what I call.... for sure. Now the package is supported by massive remixes not to be missed. First of all Cash Cash deliver the pumping electro house version that applies playful basslines, smashing beats and great alternative breakdown with top notch build up that is wonky squeaky and funky as hell. The JP Candela and Alexander Som Remix transforms the original into a straight forward epic progressive house banger with big epic hi-nrg synths, claps bouncy beats, raw basslines and huge drop to drive you ballistic and high in the sky. Lucky Date Remix is closer to Dim Mak / Steve Aoki, USA EDM style with nu rave, electro house and big room house influences.  Lastly Brooks mix is full on and in your face epic prog house slammer with great dubstep influenced breakdown and then rough and tough climax for heavy headbanging sessions. Excellent remix package to satisfy wide selection of EDM lovers. Booyah is really loud and we LOVE IT!
