Monster Tunes boldly goes where others dare to step as we present to you a very unique interpretation of one of last year’s biggest releases. The juggernaut that is ‘Airport’ by Ukrainian duo Photographer, ploughed it’s way through the Beatport Top 100 to hit No.2 for over two weeks and now one of our brightest stars has remixed it at his request, to firmly place his own touch on it!
Brazilian wonder kid, Wrechiski, works his magic to create a big room, progressive masterpiece and proves that a strong main hook can translate into any style of trance. Big and funky from the off Wrechiski turns on the style with a rawkus electro fuelled drop early on, the all familiar main hook is dispersed amongst chunky electro bass stabs building to a frenzy! The breakdown adds spice in the flavour of some female vocal shots whilst the melody we all know and love is finally revealed in its entirety!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Airport by Photographer is one of those mega uplifting trance anthems that manage to bring back the uplifting trance genre at the forefront of the scene. Its great idea to request from an artist who produces the modern neo trance sound to have a go on it and I must say that once again Wrechiski shows his Brazilian muscles and deliver a very refreshing, unique and highly danceable translation of the banging original. He comes up with an equal rough progressive slammer with chunky groovy house infused beats, electro sprinkled basslines and feel good melodic themes plus the huge unforgettable main synthy hook that he gives it in small doses until to unleash it in full effect in his long and atmospheric breakdown that various cinematic sounds are coming and going plus chopped female vocals are added as well. His climax is where the battle takes place. All the sound layers coming together to excite the audience to the maximum and let them begging for more. Intelligent production from an artist who loves to go against the grain and be always a winner. Love IT!
