Dimitri Kechagias review: Its always such a big pleasure when guest singers have the chance to explore their full potential and have the chance of their life time to record an album. Young and Proud by Aneym is certainly one of the finest EDM albums that combines inspirational lyrics, heartbreaking performance and the finest EDM producers giving their best to deliver beautiful tracks. Young and Proud is the proof that guest singers have their right to record albums and tell the whole story. The superb album starts with Aneym And Alphadelta feat. Chris Hellon for the awesome Times Without Number. Its an exceptional chill out/lounge number that sounds like a lullaby with impressive orchestral music parts and fantastic rock guitar riffs along with superb breaks that travel your mind and put you in a mood for a journey to discover Aneym and yourself too.. Aneym collaborates with Cramp for Overshadowed. It starts with beautiful intro and develops into a sweet balearic progressive trance jewel. Lyrics to make you think and start creating your own mental images to escape. Electro infusions and euphoric hopeful colourful synths. Aneym works with Mango and Richard Aarden for Soulmates. Its a deep hypnotic progressive house meets trance track with pulsating deep basslines, bubbly beats and Aneym vocals quite echoed and distanced like hearing a mysterious goddess of music. Piano in the breakdown and sweet melodies highlight the emotional lyrics. Aneym and Jan Martin work for the title track of the album, the magnificent Young & Proud. Jan Martin warm progressive trance sounds and luscious blissful melodies combined with the exceptional lyrics that describe what you feel when you are Young & Proud ready to bring barricades. Are you Young and you feel down for any reason? Press play and feel the positive vibrations flowing all over. Next is Aneym co-operation with Kim Svard for Wake Me Up. Superb proglifting trancer with pumping beats, driving playful basslines and euphoric synths. The vocal appears in the breakdown dealing with our fear to get lost in our dreams so we need someone to be there and Wake us up. The climax is full on and perfect for club play. On Shine her collaborator is Mike Shiver. The Swedish trance master composes the superb energetic proglifting soundtrack and on top Aneym's warm and tender voice resolving another difficult situation with obvious message to Shine against all odds. The main sequence is refreshing, rewarding and absolutely marvellous. The sounds are changing as Aneym voice doing her acrobatics upon the driving and highly energetic drum n bass sound of Light Within on Anywhere I Want To Go. You feel stacked in a particularly difficult situation press play and dream on cause you can go with your dreams anywhere you want to go. Aneym And Nitrous Oxide provide the already released Believer that is supported by the best djs in trance as Nitrous Oxide goes back to his trance roots and compose the soundtrack with modern twists and magic. Store N Forward are part of this album as well and work with Aneym for Torn Apart. The top German duo unleash their proglifting vibes with excellent synthy work and mesmerising piano melody and breakbeat in the breakdown combined with pleasurable sing a long vocals by Aneym that shines once again. High & Low is the result of her collaboration with Chapter XJ and when you see the name of the producer you are very sure that you will get tight beats, solid basslines and straight to the point uplifting beauty. Aneym sounds exceptional as ever as she adds the warm human emotional melody within the tough mechanical sounds, the colourful synths and the dreamy melodies. The euphoric uplifting trance motif continues with Right Through Me produced by Ferrin & Morris. The high class German duo deliver their trusted and beloved pure trance sound that will send you to the skies along with the optimistic heavenly performance by Aneym. Last track is the first single released from the album Together Again with Suncatcher. Vocal uplifting trancer at its finest that is played in clubs and radio shows a lot. Of course the djs out there will wait with anticipation for the extended club versions of this must have album. Highly recommended. Love iT!
