REVIEW: Stereo Wildlife ft. Kid Alaska - Throwing Stones incl. Eshericks mix on Perfecto Fluoro

1.Throwing Stones (Original Mix)
2.Throwing Stones (Eshericks Remix)

As heard on Paul Oakenfold’s epic 2012 Four Seasons box set compilation (where 2 mixes of the track were included on the “Autumn” CD!) “Throwing Stones” is the delicious breaks masterpiece from British songwriter and producer Stereo Wildlife with vocalist Kid Alaska. Taken from his stunning artist album “The Lighthouse” the track immediately hooked everyone in the Perfecto office onto the creativity and talent behind Stereo Wildlife.

A sublime melody and vocal sets a blissful tone for this “soundtrack of your summer” record. We’ve been gagging to get this to you!!

Perfecto regular and punk breaks maestro extraordinaire Eshericks takes up the reigns and remixes this sweet melodium into a tough, clean cut breaks bone cruncher. We love Eshericks. We bloody adore Eshericks.

Massive!!!!!

Dimitri Kechagias review: We all know by now that Perfecto records and Perfecto Fluoro are labels that you can not easily pigeonhole them within a certain limiting category. Both labels are eclectic to the bone and they release whatever they really like without caring too much about what is selling a lot or not. Latest on Perfecto Fluro is a magnificent early summer breaks track that will memserize the audience easily and can put them in a certain dreamy romantic mood. Cinematic deep melancholic melodies and chunky breaks combined perfectly with Kid Alaska vocals that stand out and sound so classy and unique of course. It starts with nice warm strings and rock guitar riffs building slowly the anticipation  along with the cool vocal. The playful beats, the funky basslines and colorful melodies will definitely bring that spring/early summer strange mood to forget, forgive and dance along its liquid trippy sound textures.  If you want a rougher dubstep version Eshericks transform the original into a harder punchier filmic dustep version that is hard, rough, heavy and uncompromising on some moments but  in the breakdown   is really sweet allowing  the great vocal to stand out supported by strong epic synths.  Inspiring fast forward electronic dance music that can easily crawl under your skin and reach  your heart and soul. Its the perfect choice to play it as the intro track for your set. Lets hope that soon Throwing Stones by Stereo Wildlife  will be included in a cool movie soundtrack. It would be great to support it with  some house or trance mixes too cause the vocal is brilliant and can reach a wider audience. Love IT!
