1. Original Mix
2. Original Dub
Rue Duo harvested worldwide acclaim with their previous singles "Set The Sun" and "Get On". Their latest trick is the brand new "Klub", accompanied by a superb dub version.
In October 2012 Rue Duo entered the electronic dance arena with their debut EP release "Set the Sun" on Wildlife, featuring the vocal talents of Sherelle McKenzie. Ever since that time, they have signed upcoming releases on labels such as Great Stuff, Nueva Deep and MEXA, while in the meantime they released their second title for Wildlife, called "Get On". Every heavyweight name in house music picked up their output, leading to a rock solid reputation for Rue Duo. With their hypermodern approach of deep house with a hint of old skool, it goes without saying that this year will establish their name definitively, thanks to their own efforts of delivering crisp and undeniably soulful deep house productions.
For "Klub", Rue Duo composed a track that is slightly darker and more 'in your face' then "Set The Sun" and "Get On". Powered by a laid back BPM, the boys return to the deeper underground sound of genuine old skool while they let the bass line run freely. The subtle vocals on top of the mixdown add to the drive of the track, giving even the progressive DJs a perfect single for their live set. Whether you call it house, club, deep house or something else, "Klub" is another Rue Duo sure shot.
Dimitri Kechagias review: The superb record label Wildlife is back with another magnificent deep house affair perfect for the late night summer parties. Rue Duo return with their hypnotic bubbly anthem Klub. I can imagine the clubbers dancing to it by the beach and enjoying the excellent production values of it. The release includes the Original mix and the Original dub. The Original mix is a superb deep tech house version with great dynamic percussion and tribal drums to get you moving straight away along with funky basslines. Great sexy grooves and rhythm to die for, old school acid house influences and mesmerising trancy melodies and ah ah ah style voices on top. The vocal is perfect as it encapsulates the club experience and how much dependent on the music and the nice parties are the clubbers of course. The Original dub mix is minus the vocal and sounds the perfect ground for you to experiment with your own acapellas and get creative with it. Pure genius for eclectic house dancefloors. Love iT!
