REVIEW: NAPT & Peo De Pitte - Gonna Be Mine out on Strictly Rhythm

1-Napt & Peo De Pitte remix
2-Original mix
3-Tantrum Desire remix
4-Far Too Loud remix
5-Oliver Twizt remix

NAPT are the UK self-styled N-funk outfit.  Peo di Pitte is the Swedish DJ/producer now resident in London.  Gonna Be Mine is out of Australia.  Confused?  Let’s break it down; NAPT and De Pitte take some choice elements from Jocelyn Brown’s 80s classic Love’s Gonna Get You, work them into a brash bass-house tune with vocals by the ever reliable Diane Charlemagne, and Australia’s Vicious Recordings snaps up the result.  After the love down under, Strictly gives Gonna Be Mine a home and adds brand new drum & bass titans Tantrum Desire and a NAPT & Peo De Pitte Beating Drum Mix to the already plump original package.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Strictly Rhythm is the legendary label of house music with many big classics under its belt. The brand new release will definitely satisfy the friends of the new bass focused house sounds that some call nu  rave /electro house or big room house. The original mix is such a clever production with electrified basslines, pumping beats, and cool elements from the 80's classic in the right dose. The result is a unique track that is funky, playful and very danceable. Napt & Peo De Pitte remix is great tech house version with pumping percussion, hypnotic rhythm and cool breakdown. Tantrum Desire remix transforms the original into a very fine drum n bass meets dubstep style track. Packed with immense energy and aggressive bass power will kick some a** for sure. Far Too Loud remix moves on the electro house meets nu rave territory with cool retro sounds,  dubstep sequences, electrified basslines and rocking bouncy beats for clubfloor destruction. Last but not least Oliver Twizt service a very rough electro house rework with hard dance/ dirty dutch influences. Quality package not to be missed, Love iT!
