Martin Solveig returns to the spotlight with yet another masterful slice of musical and video genius, bursting at the seams with all the essential ingredients you’d expect from one of France’s most prolific, hard working and diverse exports.

Following the inescapable hysteria that was “Hello” – with over 1.2 million copies sold in the US to date – and the ensuing “SMASH” album and video series, this latest offering is gathering pace at an unprecedented rate. “Hey Now” – out now on Big Beat Records – is the first of several collaborations Solveig has lined up for 2013, as he takes a more experimental approach to making and delivering the music and videos he is oh so famous for. Smattered with that Solveig pop frivolity and fun factor we’ve all grown to love, lashings of big bass, synth, Solveig wizardry and that all-important ‘hum-along’ factor, ‘Hey Now’ the record and indeed video has it all!

Having already received huge support from DJs (David Guetta, Diplo, Madeon, Kaskade, Bingo players and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike to name just a few) and radio shows across the world, Martin’s unique take on unadulterated fun is showing all the right signs of becoming a must-have track for the impending summer. Combining his own trademark sounds with those from The Cataracs and new kid on the block Kyle, this release has all the hallmarks of a bona fide Martin Solveig smash.

With remixes already in from the likes of Carnage and Laidback Luke, and with further edits from Lemâitre and Tommie Sunshine to come – there’s sure to be something for everyone. The single and video is out on right now with exclusive remix package to follow over the coming weeks.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most imaginative and forward thinking dj and producer is back with a brand new hit and huge summer anthem too. Martin Solveig has the incredible ability to compose credible tracks for the underground floors that have crossover appeal and conquer the pop charts as well. Hey Now is a magnificent track with plenty of energy, heavy basslines, great rhythm and most importantly catchy lyrics that hook you straight away and you want to sing a long with your mates. Martin's produce music that bring people closer with retro romantic feel to them and you can enjoy them to the fullest  when you are with your friends laughing and dancing with hands in the air. The remixes are the best you can get at the moment with the Dutch producer and superstar dj Laidback Luke servicing another ultra hard version with melodic breakdowns combined with very rough hard style basslines, banging hard hitting beats and immense amounts of energy and power to jump around with it for hours. You can go out of your hear when this is played completely without doubts. Carnage remix is an even harder rework on that Steve Aoki/ Dim Mak style that is named nu rave and includes influences from electro, tech and even hard core/ hard dance sounds. The result is an explosive remix that will blow mind and socks off so better be warned that nothing will be the same after dropping this manic monster. Patrick Hagenaar is a force that you can trust in the EDM scene and he provides the full on epic prog house meets electro house version that is energetic, pumping and absolutely feel good and fun packed. The brilliant Tommy Sunshine is on board and he provides a very playful and pumping remix to put any dancefloor on fire. Schoolboy remix  is the tough and rough nu-rave meets hard dance version to push your adrenaline level to the maximum. Last but not least Lemaitre remix moves on the  electro house territory with old school elements and great piano melody in the breakdown. Really sweet and summery version. Highly recommended. Love iT!
