1. Original Mix
2. Monobrother D Remix
Rue Duo deliver the follow up to their previous release "Set The Sun", continuing their success with the brand new "Get On" - including a remix by Monobrother D.
Rue Duo landed onto the scene in October 2012 with their debut EP release "Set the Sun" on Wildlife, featuring the vocal talents of Sherelle McKenzie. Ever since that time, they have signed upcoming releases on labels such as Great Stuff, Nueva Deep and MEXA, now presenting their second release for Wildlife, titled "Get On". With support from the highest echelons in house music, Rue Duo's name was carved in stone almost immediately. Consistently releasing state of the art house tracks, 2013 is already shaping up to be an exciting, successful time for Rue Duo, continuing to impress the scene with their crisp, enticing deep house sound.
With "Get On", the two producers take off from where they left after their "Set The Sun" EP. Taking the sound of their track to the boundaries of deep house and progressive, "Get On" sets a new standard of a massive, bass laden, late night sound. With subtle synth hits on top of a killer beat program, it's especially the bass line that takes over the dance floor. Add to that the outstanding Monobrother D Remix that blends progressive with minimal elements and you got yourself a high quality deep house track that the big names will hammer for months to come.
Dimitri Kechagias review: The top imprint with the motto For The Love Of House Music returns to the dancefloors with another amazing release with international potential. Wildlife presents the upcoming Rue Duo and the lovely deep tech house composition Get On. With old school organ keys, very cool hypnotic rhythm, great percussion, chopped vocal samples and involving build up of the various elements expect a very attractive house tune ready made for those spring/summer late night/early morning sessions. The excellent Monobrother D goes even deeper with a very minimal approach for an exquisite lounge house approach. The original melodies, the great atmospheres and the sound effects create the impression of a cosmopolitan night out in the hippest and richest clubs of the world. Of course if you fancy yourself as anti star you can imagine yourself dancing along with head down to a dirty nasty underground club. Top stuff. Love iT!
