Mell Tierra returns with his latest house smash, the electro-tinged “Get Down”.
As a familiar face at many renowned clubs, festivals and beach clubs, Mell Tierra's hard work over the past 14 years really paid off. Mell performed at famous clubs such as the Escape Venue, Panama, The Mansion, Westergasfabriek (Amsterdam), Club Rembrandt (Eindhoven), Vip Room (Rotterdam), Lexion (Westzaan) and large-scale outdoor events like the Fast Forward Dance Parade in Rotterdam. Releasing his output on labels like Revealed Recordings, Flamingo Recordings, G-Rex, In Charge, Nervous, Samsobeats, Spinnin Records and Tone Diary, he currently boasts 120 releases; many of his tracks have also featured on 30 compilation CDs. With “Eagle Beach” Mell dropped his debut single on the Avanti imprint and later on entered the stage of the Magik Muzik label with "The Greatest", which he recorded with Maegan Cottone.
Chugging along like an unbridled tech/electro-house smash is supposed to, Mell includes a surging stop-and-go effect that gives "Get Down" a unique flavor. Exchanging voice samples on top of a filtered breakbeat with a pumping drum program and a frantic synth line, "Get Down" adds extra drive to the dance floor - a definite sure shot for the mature and well experienced clubbers!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Mell Tiera is slowly building a great reputation around his name and his productions shine with club quality and club dance ability. His latest anthem is called Get Down and is absolutely massive. It starts with a cool and very effective breaks part with MC style vocals on top. Then it moves on the main part with pumping beats, punchy bassline and siren sound on top. The main breakdown is similar with the intro part in true breaks underground raw and rough style. The beat kicks back and returns serious, rough and deadly as ever for the final climax. This battle will be hard to believe your ears. Its simple and very effective without many experiments. Its in your face and will drive many clubbers wild so expect the unexpected reactions. Love iT!
