Ledo & Squarz Kamel are the next artists to grace Unearthed Subliminal with their new track Drifting. Drifting fuses the boundaries of trance and progressive with a cool square lead, big pads and a grungy bassline.
First up on remix duties is M.D.K with a stripped down rework of the track. Making full use of gorgeous ad-lib vocal chops, M.D.K builds the track up to a sublime breakdown and chunky beat throughout the mainsection.
Completing the remix is Unearthed regular Matt Eray. Opting for a faster paced approach, Eray introduces a funky bassline and layers of driving percussion whilst still retaining the charm of the original melody line.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Unearthed Subliminal presents the superb progressive trance production Drifting that is supported by 2 excellent remixes for your aural pleasure. First of all the original mix is a deep progressive trancer that is haunting with deep basslines, tough techy beats and mesmerising synthy melodies on top. The breakdown is relaxing and soothing with feel good piano chords while the climax will carry you away for sure to another colourful dimension. M.D.K. remix moves on the same deep progressive trance pathway with more detailed work done in the long breakdown with the piano melody and the chopped female vocal samples that create a blissful atmosphere. The climax is quite techy and bass focused with some melodic splashes too. Lastly Matt Eray provides an incredible production with chunky groovy housey beat, electro touched basslines and incredible breakdown that the big synths get the central role and lead the track to its super strong climax. Proglifting trance at its best. Love iT!
