REVIEW: Fred Baker - A New Life On Earth out on Magik Muzik / Black Hole recordings

1. Original
2. Edit

Fred Baker presents his new single “A New Life On Earth” on the Magik Muzik imprint.

It all started for Fred baker in a big way when he produced the 1996 Ibiza classic trance anthem “Mystery Land” as Y-Traxx and then produced the legendary 1997 club anthem "Eisbaer" as Groovezone on Positiva Records. In the same year Fred Baker produced the huge trance monster "Dream Mission” as Global Trance Mission, with massive support from Judge Jules, Graham Gold, Paul Oakenfold, DJ Tiësto, M.I.K.E. and Ferry Corsten. In 2005 Fred remixed Tiësto's "Adagio For Strings", later on followed with the Sensation anthem "Forever Friends". Fred owns his own record label Baker Street Records and still releases his output on imprints like Perfecto, Spinnin', Nebula and of course on Black Hole and its sub labels. Fred's previous single on the Magik Muzik imprint was "Turn Up The Bass", now properly followed up with "A New Life On Earth".

"A New Life On Earth" is a real big room monster track. With all the ruling outdoor festivals on our doorstep, every DJ can bet his money on it that is going to be the climax track of choice. Fueled by cathedral sized synth stabs, Fred Baker's arrangement brings the drums to the forefront to shake dance floors with Richter's scale magnitude!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The very talented Belgian superstar dj and producer Fred Baker  presents his megaburner A New Life On Earth on the legendary Magik Muzik imprint.  He is well known for his ability to move thousands of clubbers with his well crafted productions that remain as mega classics in our hearts. His latest production seems that goes straight to future trance anthem category. It comes like a big tornado size club cracker on the dancefloor with ultra hard beats, rough and vavooming basslines that moves full on and in your face. It's not your average fluffy fairy tale style trancer. Sharp basslines and pumping beats drive us crazy ready for the big breakdown. Fred reveals his huge synthy lead that comes to the surface to cause mayhem and mass destruction. Well known old school WooW vocal sample and then the beat kicks hard back along with the epic rave style synthy lead on top. I can imagine club audiences and summer festivals crowds going insane along with this fantastic club smasher. It's ready made to excite and get everybody on that party mood with wide smile in their face. Let's Rock IT! Excellent follow up to his previous Turn Up The Bass. More of the same Fred, Love iT!
