Mondolicious's second release by legendary producer Darren Tate under his 8 Ball guise is not one but two club smashes in the making. On the flip side "The Wave" is a sexy slice of prog house at it's finest with a legendary breakdown featuring vocals from the cult feature film "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". With remixes by Tate vs James and wizz kid Vigel this is not to be missed.

His latest release on Mondolicius will satisfy the progressive house players for sure. Firstly is the collaboration between Darren Tate pres. 8 Ball with Nicolai on vocal duties for the track Sympathy. The top Tate Vs. James Remix is an excellent pumping progressive house banger with tribal beats, deep driving basslines and great psy trance influenced melodies. If you love music that travels your mind to faraway mysterious exotic Middle East places this beauty will become your favourite. Second great track included is the unbelievable The Wave offered in its Vocal and Dub Mix. Darren delivers a prime time banging and shaking tribal exotic house smasher that is elevated even higher with that eclectic vocal sample. Its so danceable with irresistible rhythm that I remember playing it while I was recording my radio show and suddenly when this record came in I felt a huge Wave of euphoria splashing on me. It doesn't happen so often I can assure you. The original mix of Sympathy is a great hybrid of electro playful basslines, chunky crunchy beats and old school house melodies and sounds ready made for dj shows that demand something more than the ordinary stuff. The talented Vigel put his hands on The Wave with original and dub versions as well. His version is peak time prog house meets prog trance style version with pumping bouncy beats and tough basslines as well. Twinkle style melody in the breakdown slowly builds up anticipation for the incredible euphoric climax to raise hands in the air and ride this well composed sound wave.
