1.Sukha (Original Mix)
Only 20 years of age, but already one of the names on the shortlist of future promises. UK producer Toby Hedges makes his grand Armada debut on Soundpiercing, rushing in with the warm waves of ‘Sukha’.
He won the remix contest of Tenishia & Ruben de Ronde’s ‘Love Survives’ and totally nailed this remix duties for Matt Darey’s ‘See The Sun’. But this time, the world will meet his original sound.
A sound that grabs you, takes you on a melodic journey and won’t let go. ‘Sukha’ draws you in, riding a perfect balance between trance and progressive. We can’t wait to hear more.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Toby Hedges presents his first solo production on Armada Music under his name and is definitely a very promising start. Sukha that is released on Soundpiercing, the more progressive oriented sublabel of Armada Music, is a marvellous melodic proglifting trancer with all the elements you expect to get on that genre with energetic basslines, driving groovy beats and euphoric synths. Its the kind of tracks that you hear it once and your hand can not stop pressing the play button again and again. Its a straight forward production that is based mainly on the strength of its melodic content and for that reason has a marvellous flow of all the sound layers without getting too experimental. The breakdown is pure magic with warm reassuring atmosphere that makes you feel safe and secure, melancholic piano chords and great build up of the track towards its full on euphoric climax. His main and final part its pure hands in the air without getting over the top as the track underlines that insightful melancholic melody. Prepare yourself for a delicate track that is pure, clean, clear and straight into the hearts of the global trance family. Love iT!
