REVIEW: Lush & Simon vs. Reebs - Let Me Drop out on AVANTI / Black Hole recordings

1. Extended Mix
2. Radio Edit

Lush and Simon join forces with Reebs and present their debut single “Let Me Drop” on the Avanti imprint.

The Italian producers Lush and Simon hail from Milan and entered the scene of electronic dance music about a year and half ago, but in that short period of time their sound has taken the world by storm. Mostly known for their remixes, the boys have shown that their output is as prolific as EDM itself, delivering tracks that move between trance, tech trance, electro and house. Their remixes of tracks like “Something To Believe In” by Norman Doray and Nervo, “Get More” by Sem Thomasson ft. Colonel Red were all picked up immediately after their release and the Lush & Simon remix of “Bong” by Deniz Koyu even made it to Tiësto’s Club Life. One of their more recent single releases was a collaboration with A-Divizion, called “Tuono”. Now joining forces with the elusive producers of Reebs, the two present their debut on Avanti.

“Let Me Drop” shows another side of the Lush & Simon sound and brings a powerful electro house banger that would even work perfectly in today’s techno DJ sets. With a clear nod and wink to the good old TB-303 acid drops from back in the days, “Let Me Drop” ignites the dance floor with an allover hard pounding drum program and frantic synth stabs. Massive single, superb debut.

Dimitri Kechagias review: AVANTI is your main provider of quality progressive house/electro house music with touch of techno too. The brand new release is called Let Me Drop and is produced by the upcoming and quickly exploding in the EDM scene  Lush & Simon vs. Reebs. Rough rocking techy drum beats, bouncy pumping basslines and on top heavy seasoning with acid layers. Tough, uncompromising and very nasty is not your average EDM track. Its versatility and flexibility make it appropriate to use in  wide variety of styles and sets including epic prog house, nu rave,  techno or even neo - acid house. The cool MC style hip house vocal samples work really well to elevate the track to the next higher level. Ready to become one of the finest EDM tracks of the spring so Let Them Drop IT without thinking the pleasurable consequences. Love IT!
