REVIEW: Hells Kitchen - Promises EP out on Moonbeam Digital

01 Promises (Original Mix) (feat. Irina Makosh)
02 Sonata (Original Mix)
03 Simon Says (Original Mix)

Coming up next on Moonbeam Digital another great EP by Hells Kitchen, called 'Promises'.

Semyon Ermakov - very talented musician with his own views on music and sound. Love, pain, distress, happiness, smiles and experiences, all these feelings in music by Hells Kitchen. Every time he puts a little piece of his soul in each track, and he is not afraid to experiment and moving forward, not looking back to the past. New emotions, new feelings in all his tracks. Lyrics in Techno, Minimal and Progressive - that is the main focus of Hells Kitchen's activity.

And again, 'Promises', recorded with Irina Makosh, is not exception. EP comes with 3 tracks: 'Promises', 'Sonata', 'Simon Says'.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The artist himself categorize the music he produces as melodic techno. Its definitely not easy to put a certain label upon his  music productions as you can name them as deep progressive trance or deep progressive house and of course deep melodic minimal techno too. Hell's Kitchen service a state of the art EP on Moonbeam's label Moonbeam Digital. The highest quality ingredients are selected in order to compose 3 very musical melodic masterpieces. Promises (Original Mix): It's the only vocal track included on this EP featuring the smooth and erotic voice of  Irina Makosh. The electronic melodies, the chunky beats, the bubbly basslines, the orchestral music parts and  the warm melancholic strings create an interesting sound puzzle that Irina voice pulls all together and add meaning with her voice and the great lyrics. The cinematic atmosphere is prevailing the whole track and will put a spell on you easily. Sonata is equally deep, melancholic and dreamy with groovy techy beats, electronic melodies and as the title suggests a magnificent orchestral classical music melodic theme  in the breakdown that comes in the middle of this track. The piano melody and the strings add certain mystery and highlight the feeling of isolation and loneliness. When the beat drops for the final part trancy synthy leads come in to enhance crowds feeling of a late night journey. Last but not least Simon Says carries on the same deep progressive territory of filmic melodies, deep basslines, electronica lounge style sequences and soothing relaxing sound texture that can work as an audio massage in your brain. Enlightening, inspiring music that will change your music appetite for a while. Love iT!
