REVIEW: Louis Proud - When This Industry Calls incl Blue Amazon Remix out on Baroque Limited

1-Original mix
2-Blue Amazon remix
3-Proud edit

Louis Proud gives Baroque Limited its first release in 2013 , with this powerful piece

The 'Original Mix' starts with a moving soundscape, before a deep tribal groove takes over. Electronic elements enter alongside keys and horns, which lift the track to a whole new level.

For the remix we enlisted the help of Blue Amazon, who give the track a shot of adrenalin with their trademark sound , which established them as one of the key producers in the progressive house scene.. feisty rhythms, filtered synths & a hypnotic revolving bassline.. the layers of sound build to a crescendo in true Blue Amazon styleeee!

finally there is a proud edit.. which is louis own straight up dubbier mix.. more beats baby!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Baroque Limited opens the proceedings for 2013 with the superb slice of mesmerizing tech house beats and cool melodies. Louis Proud presents his tech house anthem When This Industry Calls. The original mix is an atmospheric futuristic tech house  groover with chunky beats, bubbly basslines, warm strings and distorted vocal samples. It is so well composed that take you for a nice maybe ecological ride. The breakdown reveals a very trippin out trumpet riff that works so well that you feel like floating upon the beats and the cool melodic touches. Blue Amazon deliver a very early 90's UK Progressive house sound that Sasha and John Digweed were dropping in their early years. Driving basslines, meaty chunky beats, old school sounds here and there and the needed acid overtones too. The trumpet riff is reworked through various filters and takes a totally new meaning more electronic and trancy. Proud edit is minus the trumpet riff with added melancholic melodies that turn the track into a deep meaningful insightful affair. Quality package. Love IT!
