1 - Lost in Dub (Original Mix)
2 - System is Down (Original Mix)
3 - Withdrawl (Original Mix)
4 - Withdrawl (Ferhat Albayrak Remix)
The forty first release of Jeton Records, originally based in Istanbul and with a branch in Berlin, owned and managed by Turkish Techno Player Ferhat Albayrak, welcomes Greg Gow, Slam EP with Ferhat Albayrak Remix.
Greg Gow delivers once more on his first track of the EP, Lost in Dub, a powerful weapon coming from Detroit roots, surrounded by vintage percs and basslines.
Second track System is Down is more funky than others, boosted with a high kick, white-noises and trade-mark Greg Stab works.
Third track Withdrawl is what we expect when you hear Greg's name in a booklet, a harmony of detroit pads, followed with 909 percs and a perfect traffic.
Ferhat Albayrak Remix of Withdrawl reflects Ferhat's taste and sound to the EP, more bottom heavy, filter works, atmospheric basses and white-noises sea.
Greg Gow - Slam EP rises the sound of Jeton Records to the upper level once more, a very promising chart-topper candidate of Beatport, once more...
Enjoy !
Dimitri Kechagias review: Nothing is more energizing and enjoyable of a pumping techno bouncy club track that will smash the big soundsystems. Greg Gow with his latest EP demonstartes his ability to compose techno that respects the roots and buils upon them to deliver the futuristic and advanced sound. Lost in dub is rough and bouncy track with some hints of synthy minimal melody. Groovy and addictive will keep you on the floor shaking it. On the same party mode. System is Down is a filthy rough animal that doesn't want to stay behind bars in the zoo. So let this monster get out and take over your dancefloor. It is the dark but at the same time very full on and straight to its goal to shake and roll the global dancefloors. On the other hand Withdrawl is a totally different affair. The beat is lighter and the basslines more playful and driving with very strong addictive synthy melody running on the most part of it, adding some balearic touches. Chopped vocal samples, constantly pulsating beats and intense atmosphere will hook the clubbers. Ferhat transforms the original into a massive hands in the air jumping and pumping techno track that it give you the sense that drive you somewhere without knowing exactly where you are going. Love iT!
