REVIEW: Various Artists - Once Upon A Night vol.3 the house dj sampler out on Premier

For the luckiest amongst us, life can be a fairytale. At long last, the third and latest installment of the popular electronic dance music (EDM) mix compilation "Once Upon A Night, Vol.3" is available. Mixed by globally respected DJ/producer and electronic musician, Ferry Corsten, the release consists of two discs of the most succulent, painstakingly selected trance, progressive house and electro tracks to fly out of loudspeakers this year. Much more agile and thoughtful than the typical club mix of banging, anthemic tunes, "Once Upon A Night, Vol.3" instead paints an otherworldly story of a long night out where danger and mystery meet sex and bliss. See it as an aural tale that conjures deep memories while creating new ones, and the double disc compilation perfectly captures the tense excitement one feels right before embarking on a night on-the-town. Ferry Corsten is a master at crafting epic audio voyages and in Corsten’s world, anything can happen.

What you see now is a selection of some of the best house tracks featured on Once Upon A Night volume 3!

Analogue Sound Department - Greetings (Ferry Corsten Edit)
A track previously released on Aleph Recordings but in a brand new edit by Ferry himself.
This one is a dealbreaker for sure, guaranteed dance floor filler!

Festen - Give It To Them
Danish boy wonder Festen delivers big time with one of the biggest Progressive House anthems of the year!

Kamo - Vocoder

Dimitri Kechagias review: The excellent Ferry Corsten compilation Once Upon a Night has its 3rd episode out and you can be for one thing very sure.  The 3rd episode sounds bigger and better without compromises and genre restrictions. It can be house or trance or progressive or electro, It can be everything and anything.  The house dj sampler includes some of the highlights of the compilation and we can a look on some of them.  First of all is the magnificent    Greetings by   Analogue Sound Department on the new and shinning Ferry Corsten Edit. Its definitely one of the most beautiful house meets trance anthems with electro and house elements merged perfectly with the airy dreamy piano melody that its contastant progression will hook your mind and fantasies straight away. Festen - Give It To Them: Its already number 1 in my progressive and tech house chart and it is simply very large production that packs influences and surprises for the clubbers. Rough freaky basslines, energetic beats and melodic breakdown that will take you back to the old school trance days. Its Different, very original, and really magnificent.  Kamo - Vocoder: Big electro house bomb with unstoppable, uncontrollable energy and absolutely maddening basslines to get you jumping and dancing with melodic breakdown to give you a big smile in your face and those hands in the air. Can  you stand still when you hear this??? Tellur - You: The big talent Tellur delivers the big room  electro house smasher You. Chunky tasty beats, crunchy rough basslines and cool female vocal singing You merged with feel good melodies in the breakdown. His climax is dirty dutch touched for sure. Ferry Corsten is an entertainer that you can trust to bring the best vibes on any dancefloor without loosing his touch with his hardcore underground soul. Love iT!
