REVIEW: Lange - Destination Anywhere out on Lange recordings

1-Original mix

Lange has been on top since the release of 'We Are Lucky People', which has been causing a stir in the trance scene and received across the board support. Lange now returns with a perfect follow up, a melodic and dramatic instrumental in the form of 'Destination Anywhere'.

Inspired by a yacht trip on the changeable British seas Lange sought to capture the sense of journey and the changing elements with sweeping orchestral breaks, laced with deep strings and chilling pianos set against a trademark Lange baseline and electrified leads that would rip a stadium apart.

Launched early on Schulz's GDJB show, the track has already been causing massive excitement, with further radio support form Armin van Buuren on ASOT and Ferry Corsten on Corsten's Countdown.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Lange recordings deliver to the masses a real treat for the cold winter nights and days that is already at the top of the beatport trance chart. Lange presents his own magnificent sound excursion called Destination Anywhere and in my opinion is a real masterpiece that should be included in all those compilation with the heavy title: The Best Trance Tracks of all time. Destination Anywhere is one of the finest Lange compositions until now as he unleashes his creativity to the maximum and he take us on board for an 8 minutes sound odyssey that has the drive and courage to travel our minds and souls faraway while we dance along the pumping beats, the exquisite delicate synths and the mouthwatering piano melodies in the breakdown that have a sense of melancholy that we feel when we embark on a journey without knowing our destination. If ever happened to travel as a backpacker without having a clear sense of your final destination this track reflects what you feel as you are insecure but at the same time you are longing to get away from all that surround you. It includes the big room hands up moments that the dancefloors needs but this track is for sure not strictly for the dancefloor only. It is trance as it should be long, hypnotic, storytelling, playful, enjoyable. A real treat for the trance lovers out there. Love IT!
