Enthralling dance land since its release three months ago, is the collab of dream team Christian Burns, Paul Oakenfold and JES. The firm favorite now gets a re-touch, with the gifted Andy Caldwell and Jesse Voorn on remix duties for ‘As We Collide’!

One big energy salvo, the remix of Grammy nominated producer Andy Caldwell shoots right in where needed. A playful affair of eclectic rough synths, tight build-up and bulky electro stabs show exactly why this LA based talent has a promising future ahead.

And then there’s the Dutch influence, reigning supreme in the solid and housy touch of Jesse Voorn. He turns ‘As We Collide’ into an absolutely banging, big-bassed anthem. A perfect fit for dance floor madness.

   Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the best news of the year was that Christian Burns that I believe is one of the strongest male voice in EDM signed a deal with Armada for his full length album. As We Collide is the second single taken from his forthcoming  album and unites him with the excellent USA based singer JES and the legend in EDM scene Paul Oakenfold who has the ability to turn into gold anything he touches. The extended mix was awesome and now the remixes will extend our audio pleasure even more and will bring the track at the forefront of the big name dj sets straight away. First of all is Andy Caldwell remix that comes in its vocal and its dub version as well. Andy pushes the track even higher with an epic prog house banger that shakes and rolls big time. Packed with energy and stamina is the perfect adrenaline booster than any dj set needs. Basslines and beats that bang and boom full on without compromises and on top the full vocal that will carry away all the clubbers to start singing and enjoying themselves. The melodic content ensures that even trance djs will play it in the first hour of their dj set. Next on heavy remix duties  is Jesse Vorn who provides an equally energetic version that is full on epic prog house anthemic pumping sound with tough beats, sleazy wonky dirty dutch basslines and strong melodic layers. He applies some of the parts of the vocal and he focuses more on the melodic content. It has that playful uncompromising sound that young clubbers love to be carried away and feel lost in music while they are dreaming to find a strong relationship like the one that Christian and Jes describe in the lyrics of this great record. Last but not least my favourite version is by the Norwegian superstar Orjan Nilsen. His progressive trance version can be easily described as timeless anthem that will remain as classic for sure. It has awesome piano chords, pumping beats and energetic basslines combined with the dreamy vocals of the "two on the top singers". The climax is powerful and storming with huge synthy leads driving us towards the hands in the air euphoric main part that will get a lot of shouts on the dancefloor. Straight forward safe version for Orjan who can turn anything he touches into gold. Don't miss the great remix package plus the great extended. Love iT!
