REVIEW: Steve Strangis & Miracle Blue - Central Command EP out on Future Focus recordings

1-Central Command
2-Nothing Better

Straight out of the studios from Melbourne, Australia comes this collaboration EP with Steve Strangis & Miracle Blue.

The boys wanted to create a vibe where 2 producers with different styles are able to create music that's worthy of any playlist of a trance set and also a progressive trance set, Central Command is testament to that, with a driving chuggy bassline, a very catchy melody in the breakdown.

Central Command EP is out now

Future Focus Recordings is the name of the newest venture of three EDM (Electronic Dance Music) veterans that have already kicked up quite a buzz. Dutch DJ/Producer Ernesto van der Meij, who had a legendary run as one half of Ernesto & Bastian, has joined forces with Aussies Stuart Matheson and Sasha Vatoff, who inhabit countless DJ bags around the world with their Trance project Binary Finary.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Future Focus recordings bring to the forefront two great artists from Australia. Steve Strangis & Miracle Blue unite their forces for two super strong club slamming trance tracks that can be described as hybrid of tech trance and uplifting for the Big Rooms. Central Command is rough tech trancer with cold mechanical drum beats and energetic basslines to keep the body burning calories on the dancefloor. The breakdown is very atmospheric with haunting dreamy voices and epic melodic theme that really transcends you to another place. The beat comes back rougher and tougher for the ultimate hard tech trance experience. Its the kind of track that you know that will have an immediate and fatal impact on the dancefloor. Second equally damaging trancer is of course the massive Nothing Better. It has  a balearic trance approach with  solid beat and driving basslines along with cool melodic layers. The breakdown is quite dramatic with solo piano part and airy synthy riffs coming to the surface to elevate the track to the next level. Huge drop offers a moment of pure synthy moment that will stuck in your mind for long time. When the beat returns we jump upon it  for a magnificent ride upon the travelling soundwaves like driving a boat in the middle of manic seawaves. Top Stuff! Love IT!
