For about five years, driven by a zombie from France be danceable mischief in the electro world: Kavinsky, the name of the fictional Ferrari driver who allegedly lived only from 1968 to 1986 - and now, with its glowing red eyes, the dance floors around plaguing the globe. These days appears with "Night Call" feat. Lovefoxxx the first street single, and a foretaste of the upcoming debut album "Outrun", in which he brings the cultural highlights of the eighties out of the woodwork and it carves the electro sound of the future: zombies, comics, sexy cars, horror scenarios, synthesizers, video games ... welcome to the world of Kavinsky!
The amazing story of Kavinsky is in short something like this: In 1986, the boy with the college jacket accident in his beloved Ferrari Testarossa and dies while the car is gone. It takes then about 20 years, until in 2006 he featured on the cover of the first EP "Teddy Boy" reappears - with red eyes and knot Electro-bangers in the trunk. Who's but wants to know: The man who hides behind the fact catchy mix of Eighties references hears the name Vincent Belorgey - a good friend of Mr. Oizo, Justice, Jackson & His Computer Band, Daft Punk and SebastiAn.

In early 2013 Mr. Belorgey aka Kavinksy has now scheduled the retro-futuristic electro-sweeping blow on album length: For months, the zombie entrenched in the studio to finish work on his album "Outrun" which will be released in February 2013. For his current street single "Night Call" He also has not only picked up the microphone for the first time, but on top of that got also support female in the passenger seat: Lovefoxxx, the lead singer of CSS. It was produced the track, which could be heard as early as acclaimed Ryan Gosling film "Drive" and is in France already entered the top-10 by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (Daft Punk), mixed by his buddy SebastiAn . Somewhere between gloomy Dream-pop and electro, you glide to "Night Call" on rails through the night ...

Dimitri Kechagias review: France is always great source of big talents in the EDM scene. Its time for some futuristic retro electro pop sounds that will definitely win the admiration for many. Kavinsky's NightCall first released back in 2010 on Record Makers. It has a cult status in the EDM culture and its the right time to re-release it under the wings of Mercury/Universal as the intro single of the forthcoming album Outrun that for sure will be one of the highlights of 2013. The release includes the cool electro pop 80s original with great distorted male vocals and the siren like voice by Lovefoxxx that is a great contrast and make me thing of the Beauty and the Beast romantic story. The remix package tried and tested with Breakbot quality electro meets French house remix, Robotaki cool upfront disco house version and the surprising thrash metal cover by SAWAGiis Revenge remix who won the remix competition. NightCall will be a major hit in some months for the bigger audiences without 2nd thoughts, Looking forward for OutRun album big time. Love iT!
