Jawoo a.k.a. Marinko Vujevi was born June 25th 1989 in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina. His first experience with a big audience was when he was about 14 years old. By that time he started working as a DJ in one of the clubs in his hometown. As a beginner he played a wide variety of genres from techno, tech house, progressive house and even R'n'B and hip-hop; eventually switching to electronic dance music. Nowadays playing mostly electro, techno and tech house Jawoo still tries to focus on the deeper and more melodious sounds in those styles. With his previous releases, Jawoo already showed the competition that an enticing blend of techno and tech house still gets the party rocking. Jawoo also owns his own record imprint Stanch Records since 2008.
So far Jawoo released several EPs on the Black Hole sub label Wildlife. Tracks like “Face Of The Jungle”, “Life Dimension”, “Strange People”, “Somewhere in Toronto”, “Security Reasons”, “Toy Story”, "Neighbour Coming To Me" and "The Mouse" all introduced Jawoo's hot sound to the world of electronic dance music.
This first EP features the titles “Audio Memoir” and “Living Administrator”, perfectly kicking off his upcoming series of four EPs and giving a superb example of Jawoo’s infectious tech house sound.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Its definitely harder to please the human ear with less elements and in deeper styles. As it seems Jawoo has the talent even with less as possible sound layers to build an infectious groovy soundscape that has that cinematic atmosphere that I personally search to get in those types of tracks. Audio memoir is a melancholic deep tech house groover that is based upon a chunky groove and little sad really attractive electronic melody that sounds outer space for sure. The second track is a very different affair as Jawoo provides a superb slice of deep progressive house that even deep trance djs can adopt easily because of the very strong melodic themes in the background. Dirty filthy sounds and surprisingly pumping beats, shifted percussion, deep basslines and on top the cool melodic theme will make the difference for sure. The best things in life are the simple ones and Jawoo shines with his less is better compositions. Love IT!
