1-Joyride
2-Orphan
Jamie Drummond makes a phenomenal debut on Mental Asylum with this double-edged 2 track smash EP: 'Joyride / Orphan'!
Joyride opens the release in furious style with sizzling basslines and rippling kick drums driving the track perfectly. Atmospherics are kept sky high throughout with glossy plucked arps and blazing acid lines to really set the tone. On the break, washes of soundscapes encompass the rhythms before the hook unleashes in full for maximum crowd pleasure into the drop - stunning!
Orphan continues the big room feel superbly, with another finely crafted fusion of highly charged percussive rhythms, stabbed sequences and hair raising chord changes ensuring absolute rapture on the floor once again!
An extra large debut from the Asylums latest recruit - not to be missed!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The label that manage to create big buzz around its name continues to deliver the goods. Jamie Drummond wears his white uniform and enters the Mental Asylum building with the stunning EP that includes two in your face underground trancers. First of all is Joyride and I can assure you that the title described well the content. Full on uplifting trancer that is straight to the point with all the melodic goodness we are craving for to get in a strong solid trancer like this one. Relaxing breakdown to take a short breath and then get ready for the fantastic hands in the air uplifting climax. Trance slammer that will have a sure and fatal impact on your dancefloor. Second top production is Orphan. This time Jamie goes for a rougher power slammer that is sharper, harder and perfect for mainstage use on a massive full on tech trance set that is darker, moodier and sinister as well. Are you mad enough to drop these crazy tunes on your set and turn your floor into a high class Mental Asylum? I bet you are. Love iT!
