REVIEW: Danjo & Damian William - Lady Grey out on Avanti / Black Hole recordings

1. Original Mix

Danjo and Damian William present their new single "Lady Grey" on the Avanti imprint.

The Dutch born Danjo Raijer has created a mass hysteria on the dance floors worldwide, serving the audience with majestic anthems like “Everlast”, “Duende”, and “What Lies Ahead” (with Rob Styles). Nowadays, Danjo is mainly focusing on captivating solo tracks like “As The Tables Turn”. Danjo (then with Styles) did many remix projects, resulting in a wide range of well-known productions like Tiësto’s “Adagio For Strings” remix, Jones & Stephenson’s all-time classic, “The First Rebirth”, and Chakra’s massive, “Love Shines Through”. Danjo’s first solo release, “As The Tables Turn”, came at the end of February 2008. Danjo later on released "It Is Written" with Andrew Shartner, "Captivity" with Axess and plenty of other singles. This time taking things to the Avanti label, Danjo now presents "Lady Grey" together with Damian William.

Damian William has been active since 2009 and is still known for his track "I Still Believe" recorded with dance music diva Terri B. In 2011 Damian William takes a few life changing trips while creating the remix “A Little Louder” with house vocalist Christopher Peyton for the first Kid Massive album and with his first EP "Tutti Frutti / Maniana" which was released on Hardwell’s label “Revealed”. In 2011 he released the heavily supported singles "Astrolove" and "Essence".

For the lovers of high powered tech trance, "Lady Grey" is the perfect climax track. The dubstep-esque synth programming combined with the elusive vocals deep down in the mix makes "Lady Grey" a massive floor filler with a nice big room touch.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the biggest Dutch EDM producers strikes back on AVANTI. Danjo returns after his progressive trance tracks for the big room/epic prog house slammer Lady Grey along with Damian Williams. The collaboration worked out really well as Lady Grey is a superb fat and slamming track that includes many new ideas and twists in the genre. Weird, distorted, agressive rioting basslines combined with driving epic prog house beats and on the breakdown lovely sweety piano melody and strange ethnic female vocal that adds character and personality to the track. The track is injected with big tones of energy, adrenaline and all the other body fluids that the super exciting sound can produce  the unexplored and still unkown human brain. Its one of those cases that you get out of your head utterly and completely enjoying the party. Love IT!
