Dimitri Kechagias review: Its always great to find out that the music moves on and that new talents are coming at the forefront to enrich the existing styles with their own innovative ideas. Great example is Arston who delivers a stunning EP on S2/Sirup Music. Well spot on talent that Sirup crew in some months will be so proud that they were the first to give him the chance to release the two massive bombs Flashmob & Empire. First of all is the full on epic progressive house slammer Flashmob. It follows the usual codes and conventions that are being used by many producers but the real stand out point for me is his breakdowns and his fantastic pitched piano melody and the very emotional strings just before he builds up the proceedings towards the massive hands in the air epic main part. Particularly the second longer breakdown will touch you really deep and can eve make you cry a little, just before you release all the melancholy and autumn moods on the full on banging booming climax. The second track Empire is equally brilliant with superb intro part that sounds really melodramatic with top percussion. The breakdown reveals a very sensitive piano melody and fantastic guitar riff that runs through the whole main part upon the pumping beats and the epic synths. His second breakdown develops even further his cinematic melodic theme and with orchestral style moves towards the final climax. Short moment of silence for the guitar riff to come at the forefront and when the beat kicks back hands will be raised in the air and the mind will travel too with that great guitar riff. Magnificent EP, not to be missed. Love iT!
