REVIEW: Tom Colontonio & Orla Feeney - New Born out on Future Focus recordings

1-Original mix
2-Full Tilt remix
3-Pulse & Sphere remix

In a dark New Jersey Italian Restaurant often frequented by the legendary Rat Pack in the mid 1960s, US DJ / Producer Tom Colontonio & Irish superstar Orla Feeney drew inspiration on their iPhones and tapped away on the main melody for "New Born" on the Piano App. Later that night both hit Tom's studio and began the first half of their collaboration together. After a few weeks of sending the file back and forth online it wasn't until Tom was in Ireland that the 2 of them finished off their masterpiece and gave birth to "New Born"
Featuring Remixes by Irish Duo Full Tilt as well as Russian Duo Pulse & Sphere.

Release Date: 24th September 2012.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Future Focus recordings is a young but very successful record label with many great artists lined up for future releases. The two stars of the uplifting trance sound Tom Colontonio and the superb queen of trance Olra Feeney collaborate for the fantastic New Born. The original is uplifting trance at its finest and at its most classic format. Full on and straight to the point with an awesome breakdown that reveals a really delicious and  refreshing synthy riff that gives you goosebumps and will raise your consciousness a little bit higher feeling that sense of being New Born. When the beat returns hands will stay for long in the air for an enjoyable flight courtesy of Future Focus airlines. Pulse & Sphere are the hottest property in the tech trance scene and they reshape the uplifting original into a superb energetic progressive trancer with techy beats, hi-nrg synths and feel good trance riffs. They recreate the original theme in their own way that is dirty, twisted, and distorted perfect to lead the track to its climax that is very enjoyable and dynamic as well. Excellent version that is very fresh, unique and pushes the trance genre some steps ahead.  The top Full Tilt deliver their progressive trance version that has epic prog house influences, deep basslines on the Coldharbour records style. The melancholic piano melody stands out on the breakdown and offers a certain atmosphere.  Very strong version as well for the neo-trance fans out there. Love IT!
