REVIEW: Leventina - Glorious EP out on Unreleased Digital

1-Glorious(Original mix)
2 Spellbound (Original Mix)
3 Get On Fire (Original Mix)
4 Glorious (Radio Mix)
5 Spellbound (Radio Mix)

Swiss duo 'Leventina' have seen their star rise meteorically after their last few releases on our label imprint. With regular support from likes such as David Guetta, Gareth Emery, Tiesto, Sander van Doorn or Morgan Page their tracks are listed in playlists of all global players. With this huge 3 track EP, they now return after a small summer break on Unreleased Digital.

'Glorious' is the opener here and got our full attention after first listening already. An old fashioned Nintendo like arcade melody uncovers a beautiful melody in the first breakdown that morphs slowly into a big main hour section and drops finally in a rolling and uplifting melodic part.

'Spellbound' comes up with another fantastic peak hour melody. While gated arpeggios start to filter up, the structure of the song starts to build its walls, slowly, and a sine like sound on top simulates the roof of this big house. When it comes to the euphoric drop, the emotive melody is able to build to its climax in a wave of soaring synths.

Third track on the EP is 'Get On Fire' and offers a more electro house generic sound but still having beautiful melodies in breakdown sections as well as a powerful wall of synth melodies before some hammering snare drums take the song into a big unexpected drop.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Leventina are on the top of the world right now with many great releases coming our hot and streamy from their studio. The latest EP is called Glorious and comes on Chris Reece's quality and highly regarded label Unreleased Digital. First of all is Glorious that will satisfy your hunger even more with big room banging progressive house sound. It starts with minimal intro that lands on the first short breakdown that the main melodic theme is revealed and goes full on for the first part and  now the track is transformed into an agreessive pumping big room smasher. The longer breakdown is even better with electronica style little riffs reminiscent of platinum anthems like Tim Berg's Bromance.  The main part is very large as you can guess with rougher edges and agressive tones to unite strangers on the dancefloor. It includes a cool housey style male vocal sample too. Spellbound is a real winner as well. Dynamic to the core with booming  basslines, rough beats and amazing melodic theme in the breakdown that leads the track to its big climax. Big Room fans will adore it and the rest will simply love it cause its hard to be left untouched from such a massive club banger. On the same high quality standards is the superbly entitled Get On Fire. It starts all minimal and playful but very soon takes more body and sound texture in order to deliver an excellent intro breakdown with huge synthy leads and electronic style melodies. On the main part things become raw and raunchy so better join us and dance along with it. Top EP from Leventina for heavy use and abuse. Love iT!
