REVIEW: Grenz & Skaarung - Radiate out on Monster Tunes

1-Original mix
2-Radio edit

International production duo Grenz & Skaarung are certainly making a mark for themselves through their debut collaboration for Monster Tunes. With years of experience behind Ryan Grenz, following past productions on A State Of Trance, Discover Records and our very own Monster Pure back in the day, it's instantaneously clear this newly formed partnership will develop into a perfect match for trance fans around the globe.

'Radiate' is an intricately crafted production littered with quirky vocal chops and smooth trance plucks. It truly encapsulates the serene, laid back, melodic and uplifting sound that came to the fore of the trance scene in the mid-noughties. However, this has a distinctly fresh edge to stand out from the crowd.

This radiates pure class!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The top trance imprint Monster Tunes continues to be in the list of the must check labels for many trancers worldwide for many years now. The top label releases after the more straight forward uplifting sounds the progressive trance beauty Radiate by Grenz & Skaarung. You press play and you know that something is happening with this track. It has something in it that makes it to stand out from the crowd. Its energetic and driving with chopped distorted female vocals, soaring warm luscious synths on top and  electro touched basslines. It has that playful and really summery vibe that we definitely need within the moody rainy Autumn. Its  feel good and very cinematic particularly in the breakdown with all the piano riffs and cool synthy riffs coming and going. It brings to your mind classics on labels like Hooj Choons or Lost Language but sounds fresh and exciting to listen. Travelling and relaxing without the desperate need to provide instant gratification.  Its a must have anthem for your forthcoming sets. Love IT!
