Crimson - Windfall (Original Mix)
Crimson - Windfall (Matt Eray Remix)
Crimson - The Rising (Original Mix)
Crimson - The Rising (Zaa Remix)

Mondo favourite Simon Gregory (aka Crimson) makes his much anticipated return with his latest stomper called 'Windfall EP'. Quick off the mark Simon exercises his much loved signature Crimson sound, delivering a peak time foray of sumptuous pads, emotive hooks and killer percussive energy. To complement the original we have a remix from another Mondo favourite: Matt Eray. Whilst maintaining the cool vibe from the original, Matt stamps his own mark on the track and brings home a huge mix that's sure to smack the sound system hard wherever it's played!

On the flip we have 'The Rising', which oozes yet more Crimson vibes with its haunting effects, lush pads, big room melody fused with a classic trance sound that every clubber will adore. Complementing the original and adding some extra grit to the package, rising star Zaa delivers his take and turns out a techy monster with chunky percussion, dark effects and a deep bassline.

In a word - Huge!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The top UK based record label Mondo records presents the brand new EP by Crimson that is supported by cool remixes as well. Windfall and The Rising are the two originals that the artist known as Crimson includes in this top EP.  The Rising is a magnificent progressive trance adventure with driving basslines, sincere feel good melodies and energetic beats that lead us on the breakdown that is long and atmospheric. The euphoric synthy theme will catch your attention and lead the track towards its uplifting climax. Well produced and very tasty indeed. Zaa transforms the original into a tougher tribal  trancer for the big rooms  with grungier basslines, pumping beats, playful composition and big euphoric synthy theme in the breakdown. Windfall is upfront with the word prime time weapon written all over it. Straight forward groovy basslines, blissful electronic melodies and synthy hooks that deliver the dreamy trance journey that any trance producer aspire to achieve but a few manage to do it. Lastly Matt Eray put his hands on Windfall and provides an oustanding remix that is hopeful, optimistic, summery and you can say balearic too. Top stuff! Love iT!
