After Pictures Of You and Farewell Letter/Farseer the guys have taken their sound to another level, still melodic with their signature melodies but Feel Good takes it up a notch.
Relay & Front this time deliver a heavy dubstep tune with new classic drum n bass elements and a dreamy guitar in the break.
The remixes this time come from UK duo Jagged Hedz (Freestylers/Dub Pistols) and Indian Bass producer Sickflip (member of Mental Martians alongside Sound Avtar)
Jagged Hedz bring some nice and groovy breaks to the table while Sickflip takes a more VIP drum n bass approach.
Definitely one for the dancefloors and with the support of their last EP's this one sure will storm the charts.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Rub A Duck is one of the most significant success cases in the music industry. Very fresh label with a satisfying year of great releases that manage to attract the attention and build a whole bass scene in Holland. The label is so good that many great artists decided to drop their tunes in it. The latest release comes from the hands of Relay & Front who deliver something really special and very unique too.Feel Good is wonderful arrangement that combines dub step, drum n bass and warm melodic sections. The male vocal on top has a euro house touch to it reminding me great artists from that pre-trance era. Its trippy, inspiring and can make you feel good deep inside your heart, soul and bones too. Sickflip Remix is very youthful and energetic version with dubstep and breaks style parts as well. Melodramatic strings, dreamy guitar riffs and the top vocal will paint a bright picture into your night. Last but not least my favourite version is by Jagged Hedz who service a marvellous drum n bass version that is spacey, atmospheric, travelling and can be easily become part of a Cafe Del Mar type of compilation. You press play and cruise with your car through the empty roads of your metropolitan city. Quality stuff! Love IT!
