REVIEW: Billy Gillies - Remember / Good Day on Fraction records

1-Remember
2-Good Day

Fast rising label favorite Billy Gillies has been responsible for some of Fraction Record's finest uplifting gems in recent times, seeing support from all corners of the Dj world including countless BBC Radio 1 playlists. Now, Billy makes another slamming appearance with his latest hugely anticipated 'Remember / Good Day' ep to lift those floors once again!

'Remember' opens the release in fantastic fashion with glowing bass lines and floor smoking drum rhythms driving superbly against the uplifting top melodies and high flying atmospherics to really set the tone. As the hook lines begin to unfurl upon the breakdown, the energy levels are sent skyward to a roof raising crescendo for the drop and chorus - crowd pleasing trance at it's absolute finest!

'Good Day' continues the already huge theme with more white hot percussive rhythms and sizzling bass work injecting maximum drive, while the extra large melodies on show once again ensure full crowd control for any peak time floor - this is MASSIVE!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Fraction records knows better than anyone else what your dancefloor demands and deliver it straight to your door. The next big release ready to make big waves in the scene is the fantastic new EP by Billy Gillies including two very different tracks that you can play in different moments of your dj sets. The uplifting lovers will find their satisfaction on the huge Remember. Absolutely stunning uplifting trancer meets tech trance that is extra solid, thick and straight to the point without many experiments in its compositions. Pumping bouncy beats, driving basslines to give that impression of moving forward and a massive break to die for with warm melodies and plenty of atmosphere to transcend your spirit to another dimension for sure. When the beat comes back hands will be in the air as the  huge uplifting climax will carry you away to fly upon its melodic wings. A third small breakdown will turn the track into a manic head banging tech trancer with twisted beats and glitzy parts focused on the hot bass. On the other hand Good Day is a totally different animal with progressive trance bubbly beats and very strong uplifting synths that will win your admiration straight away. Its proglifting trance at its best that is packed with hope and optimistic view that the day that is coming its gonna be a good one. Take notice of the melancholic piano melody that really adds a different angle as well. Two super special tracks for high quality underground trance lovers. Love iT!
