With a knack for the eclectic and an open mind to fusing styles, Tenishia brings us the next jewel of their debut album. ‘Point Of No Return’ takes you in with its mysterious, string-swept character.
‘Always Loved, Never Forgotten’, ‘As It Should’ and the IDMA nominated ‘Shores Of Eden’. With the release of their debut album, Cyprian Cassar and Joven Grech have unveiled many gems, each with their own feel.
‘Memory Of A Dream’ also brings us ‘Point of No Return’, a track with sweeping strings, emotional, melodic layers and deep vocals. Once the break has you in its spell, you’ll be awakened by a techy outburst of energetic synths. Another Tenishia favourite.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Tenishia from Malta are the hottest exports of this very beautiful country and the locals treat them as superstars who manage to bring Malta at the very centre of EDM music. Discovered by Armin van Buuren and supported by A list and bedroom djs these two young guys are ready to bring the good old vibes of trance back. I can not forget what a good friend of mine told me while we were experiencing Tenishia at the Trance Addict stage of the best Global Dance Event Tomorrowland 2012 in Belgium. He pointed to me emphatically "These guys play proper trance" Exactly that motto reflects their brand new single on S107/Armada Music. Point of No Return is proper trance track as we loved it in the past and will love it in the future too. Solid tight production with tough drum beats, driving basslines and mind blowing melodramatic piano melody in the breakdown merged with orchestral theme to die for. When the distorted rave style synth riffs come to the front Im sure that you will say that now There is no Return and you will ride freely upon the magical sounds that Tenishia composed with so much artistry and talent. The breakdown in the original version includes a cool female spoken vocal sample that will definitely make the difference and stand out. It reminds me classic trance tracks that included vocal samples like this one and sounds more like a poem. The package includes the album mix as well. Tenishia help us to bring back Memory of our Best and most significant dreams. Soon you can watch a video interview with Tenishia filmed at Tomorrowland. Love It!
