REVIEW: JP Bates - No Response on Discover Digital

1-Original mix
2-Peter Santos Remix

This label debut from J.P. Bates ticks all the boxes when it comes to hooks and melodies.

The bassline is deep and warm and the early focus on this quickly gives way to the melodic hints that build towards the breakdown. However, when it comes to infectious hooks, this is where No Response ultimately delivers.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Discover Digital goes on the progressive side of trance with the latest production by JP Bates called No Response. The release includes two great versions to choose from and drop in your sets. The original is an energetic progressive trancer with techy and electro edges perfect for big room sets as well. Driving basslines, tribal techy drum beats and great synthy layers creating a heavenly soundscape. In the breakdown after the male spoken vocal sample a massive rave style synthy riff is introduced to lead the track to its hands in the air final climax. If you search for a more delicate take on the original Peter Santos delivers a balearic progressive trance translation with superb work done in his breakdown with epic synths, plucky melodies and sensitive piano theme that lead the track to its blissful climax. Sincere and creamy but with its crunchy delicious parts as well.Love It!
