Dimitri Kechagias review: Its once again time for a massive Discover records release by the upcoming and very promising producer Darren Porter. His Alchemy track will satisfy the UK uplifting trance fans fully as it follows the uplifting feel good euphoric trance style faithfully by staying truth to the codes and conventions of the beloved genre. Whatever you expect to get on a banging uplifting trance record is packaged nice and tidy on this excellent track that has so much energy and power that will become instantly a summer festivals favourite without second thought. Solid tight production with driving basslines and huge synths that push the listener to a higher level for sure. His breakdown is well timed with some plucky melodies, massive airy synths that perform the main melodic theme that can only be characterised as epic and very anthemic too. After a heavy distortion "dubstep" type of effect the rough beats are kicking back for the climax that will carry you away floating upon the feel good synths. Uplifting UK underground trance at its best. Love IT!
