FERRY CORSTEN LAUNCHES NEW MONTHLY MIXSHOW: FERRY'S FIX
Internationally acclaimed EDM (electronic dance music) DJ, producer and artist Ferry Corsten launches the new one-hour monthly radio mixshow, "Ferry's Fix." Starting immediately, new episodes of Ferry’s Fix will begin airing on the leading terrestrial, Internet and satellite radio stations across North America and worldwide, with new partner radio stations being added each month. The format of Ferry's Fix contrasts entirely from Corsten's other hugely successful and long-running "Corsten's Countdown" show, the former a straight DJ mix of continuous music without talking or guests, and the latter a countdown show of individual tracks. (Corsten's Countdown currently airs in more than 50 countries on a weekly basis, including exclusively on SiriusXM Radio in the U.S.)
Said Ferry Corsten, "The new Ferry's Fix show is for all those fans who’ve been asking me for years to do a straight-up DJ mix, something that brings the club into their cars, ear-buds or living rooms. Ferry's Fix is totally different and unique from my Corsten's Countdown show which will continue unchanged. The reason I've decided to do a new monthly show – as opposed to Corsten's Countdown, which is weekly – is to give a stage to all of the killer music I find each month that perhaps doesn't fit into the format of Corsten's Countdown. I wanted to give listeners a full hour of the best upfront tunes, hottest remixes or unexpected goodies in the format of a pure DJ mix with Ferry's Fix. It's almost like making a new mix CD for each episode of Ferry's Fix. I hope you enjoy it!" This year Ferry Corsten reached the number 2 position of the annual Trance Podium DJ Top 50.
