JOOP has been around for a while since he won the ID&T Talent Award in 2001. Being the producer of the official anthem for Trance Energy in 2007 he has been touring the world. Becoming a dad settled him down for a little while but now he is back with releases like Rocket Double, PLUR, Focus and now Just One Night. He loves producing but his real passion is at entertaining the crowd. As his fans will state: JOOP is pure energy and he knows what the people want to hear.

Dimitri Kechagias review: JOOP is one of the hottest Dutch producers and his releases so far have left a stamp upon the dance community. Who can forget his Trance Energy anthem The Future? So now that JOOP is back we can only get prepared for fantastic releases ahead that will add energy and colour in our club nights. Ready made for the clubfloors of 2012 JOOP unleashes his wonderful club banger  Just One Night featuring the vocal talent of Tiffany JohnstonJust One Night is an emotional club smasher bursting with powerful tech trance beats, driving basslines and great melodic layers on top. Tiffany sounds so sweet and lovely and her voice is the more appropriate to add that sensitive touch upon the rough rocking beats. The breakdown includes a dynamic dustep influenced sequence and after a short moment of silence get prepared to scream and shout really loud as the huge synth are unleashed performing an epic theme that will make us all jump up and down without stopping even for a while. Just One Night is a full on club anthem perfect to rock stadiums and big rooms. JOOP is back! Love iT!

Info about JOOP: Dutch DJ/producer JOOP has already cemented his place at the top level of international dance. The man whose tough, progressive tech-dance style has set dance floors on fire the world over is now proving to be a titan in the studio as much as behind the decks. The Netherlands, then Europe and finally the States, Asia and Australia have all fallen under his spell – and when you hear his tracks or see him play, it comes as no surprise.
Since the tender age of 13, dance music has been an all-consuming passion for JOOP. Progressing from a residency in his hometown to some of the biggest venues and festivals in the world, his sound pushes the boundaries, leaving audiences in awe. His production work is in constant demand. It was his first four tracks that bought him to global attention. ‘Act Of God’, ‘The World & Another World’ and ‘Sonsuz’ instantly established him as a producer of great skill and were hammered by the great and the good. With backing from one of the most highly respected and credible imprints in The Netherlands, High Contrast, JOOP was, with no exaggeration, the name on everybody’s lips.

In 2002 he was chosen to mix the prestigious Trance Energy compilation, one of the most awesome festivals in his homeland and indeed the world, it was to be the start of a beautiful relationship. Playing for Trance Energy, as well as other iconic events such as Mysteryland, Sensation, Innercity to name but a few, the JOOP sound began to spread. When the organisers of Trance Energy handpicked his epic track ‘The Future” as their official anthem for 2007, it was the stamp of approval that many feel had been long overdue. Performing ‘The Future’ live on the main stage as the centrepiece of the night, it was clear for all to see – JOOP had arrived. After the great success of ‘The Future’ High Contrast Recordings (the label where JOOP is signed) asked him to mix the ‘High Contrast...presents...’ album. Again JOOP showed his skills as a musical talent, which is not only producing and doing a set at the most prestigious events of the world, but also having the profession to mix a double-CD album containing the best dance tracks at that moment.

But performing is his greatest passion and the crowd has enjoyed him in Australia on the first edition of QDance’s Defqon 1, starring at Sensation Melbourne on New Years Eve 2009, hitting Perth January 1st 2010 and rocking 50.000 people at Sunrise 2010 in Poland.

But his biggest success was yet to come, the birth of Sarah in December 2010. After this wonderful moment JOOP decided it was time for a break and to spend time with his wife and daughter. However by the summer of 2011 he felt the need to produce, the need to perform, the need to entertain. For that purpose BlueJ Management & Events is founded by JOOP. Together with his team of confidants he was ready to conquer the world once again.

Now he is back as the main act at the Gathering in Denver 2011, touring Turkey, performing at Circus Afterhours in Montreal, being the main act in Antigua and headliner at the number 1 club in Belgrade “Magacin”. Alongside he has been producing some stunning tracks. Great collabs with Leon Bolier and Raneem. Club hits with ‘Closer to Zero’, ‘Stronger’, ‘Rocket Double’, ‘Focus’ and his latest release ‘Just one Night’ featuring Tiffany Johnston. A track which is believed to be his final comeback.
