Tim Cullen & DJames go head to head once again for this tech-house belter 'Pushin', with stellar remixes coming in from So Called Scumbags & Will Clarke.
Their last collaboration 'Whatever / Vega EP' did maximum damage both in the cool cuts chart, and on the download stores, reaching #1 on traxsource.com, and 'Pushin' is the perfect follow up.
2012 has been a MASSIVE year for Tim Cullen so far. On the DJ'ing side of things, he had been hand-picked by Ministry of Sound as their new Saturday night resident, and gigs are flying in for him internationally.

On the production side, his remix of So Called Scumbags - Good Times smashed the download charts earlier this month, hitting #1 on djdownload.com. trackitdown & traxsource. Tim has numerous remixes and collabs in the pipeline with Jonathan Ulysses, Oliver Lang, Brett Gould, So Called Scumbags & Seb Fontaine.
DJames is a definite one to watch. His deep / tech sound is infectious. Be sure to catch his latest podcast also on Grin Recordings.
Grin's very own So Called Scumbags & Grin newcomer Will Clarke are on remix duties, taking this track in opposite directions. The Scumbags create a deeper sound to their usual mixes with their 'Takin It Back Mix', whilst Clarke takes care of the darker tech side of things.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Grin recordings is a label that you can trust and drop without hesitation. If you love underground groovy tech house tracks dont miss the brand new collaboration between Tim Cullen & DJames for the superb Pushin. The original is supported by two very tasty remixes to widen its appeal. First of all is the massive original that can be labelled as an anthem in the making with the rolling latin style grooves, tribal tech house beats and looped vocal samples combined together to create a fast moving and booty shaking track. The breakdown is melodic and relaxing but the main part is full on and straight to the dancefloor material. So Called Scumbags are awesome and their remix is a superb romantic acid house version that is old school, deep and very summery too. Great to warm your audience and get them locked on the dancefloor. Last but not least is Will Clarke who is simply fantastic and he proves that he is about to make big noise in the scene. Tribal tech house style with great percussion, swirling effects and big room appeal for sure. If you go for the Toolroom sound better check this. Like IT!
