REVIEW: Robert Nickson pres. RNX - Suffer / Vestfold on Colorize

1-Suffer
2-Vestfold
A man with an illustrious production career, Colorize are pleased to announce a label debut from Dutchman Robert Nickson.

Showing his deeper side, the 'Suffer / Vestfold' EP delivers two stunning progressive tracks with trance undertones - as you would expect from Robert.

Suffer's huge swelling bassline instantly grabs your ear, before layer's of entwining melodies and precise percussion build into the breakdown where a crescendo of synths engulf the listener, before dropping back down into the big room progressive vibe.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Colorize is the perfect label to add its own unique sound colour in your dj set. The latest release comes from the hands of one of the most productive Dutch dj and producer Robert Nickson who reveals his new project RNX in order to present these two very interesting and classy tracks.  Suffer / Vestfold are not easy to categorise them  under a certain style as I can imagine wide variety of djs will play them and many more fans of EDM music will appreciate them. Suffer is a deep progressive monster that builds relentlessly with dark and moody tones and with quite esoteric subliminal style melodies that manage to create a very special atmosphere that makes you wondering what is coming next. Progressive house or deep progressive trance djs who would like to add some moodiness and dryness in their set will choose it. Vestfold is the more summery balearic influenced track with an exceptional breakdown that will inspire you with its lovely little melodic riffs and that deep and magical summer echoing atmosphere. Perfect sound design as you can expect from a such an experienced producer. Soon the chunky proggy beat is back with all the lovely melodic layers for a nice relaxing and calming journey to the nearest Ibiza beach! RNX is a great way to check the opposite side of the uplifting Robert Nickson sound. Love IT!
