Having recently remixed Above & Beyond and Andy Moor's classic "Air For Life", US duo Norin & Rad Bruce Karlsson and Nick Sember continue to cement their position at the forefront of the trance scene with this forward-thinking double a-side EP.
Anyone who has seen Above & Beyond DJ recently will already be familiar with "Pistol Whip". A futuristic, progressively minded trance track, "Pistol Whip" manages to capture an epic atmosphere and stadium feel without reducing itself to obvious tactics. Instead a typically fresh groove and a unique, musical breakdown combine to dancefloor devastating effect.
Completing an impressively strong release, "Zion" is another groove-heavy modern trancer with a dramatic piano breakdown.

First of all is Pistol Whip that is full on energetic electro prog trancer that combines groovy shaking bubbly beats with twisted dirty electro basslines combined perfectly with hair raising synths in the breakdown. It's so playful and original with bursting energy that is very hard to resist it and not start doing your dance moves along with it. Particularly its climax will excite you and lock you in its soundscape straight away. Zion on the other hand is hard, pumpy, bouncy and rocking as we like it with housey edge to it for that reason I can imagine wide variety of djs adopting it for their sets. Prog house djs like Fedde Le Grant or even Laidback Luke will adore to play it. Its rhythm is irresistible and the big synthy stabs in the breakdown will drive you wild shouting and jumping along with it. Euphoric and powerful with attention to its every single detail is strictly for the dancefloors material. Norin & Rad will perform along Above & Beyond at their Group Therapy stage at the massive party Tomorrowland in Belgium. Love iT!
