Second release on Touchstone Recordings is a full vocal affair. The Original version is a sweetly vocalled summery radio record, and the remixes cover several musical angles, beginning with prog trance courtesy of Danny Stubbs. His mix stays faithful to the Original's beautiful arrangment, weaving the song around a deliciously warm and deep production which has a gorgeous summery vibe. Boyen & (Randy) Boyer takethe track in a completely different direction, with a mommoth techy big room nu-trance flavour, intense synth lines and an exhillarating arrangment are topped off with a breakdown and pay-off to die for! Peak-time uplifting vocal trance lovers with be reassured that the sound is very much alive by Phil Taylor's storming remix, this mix was debuted by Solarstone at the huge ASOT#550 party and Ministry of Souund and it destroyed the place. We also have a selection of downtempo mixess, beginning with Klangsteins 'Stoned by Klangstein'version, a wonderfully produced orchestral arrangment perfectly suited to an end-credits scenario. Boyan & Boyer's padapella is perferct chillout material, stripping the song back to a few key elements, and finally Motif's own 'Chillout' version is classic Café del Mar material.
Dimitri Kechagias review: The second release Motif ft. Hannah Magenta - Never Let Go on the newborn record label Touchstone recordings headed by Rich Solarstone via Black Hole recordings is an awesome release perfectly timed for the forthcoming summer season including wide variety of remixes to choose and really enjoy. The original version is a light hearted breaks/drum n bass style version that is so travelling with the lovely strings and the exceptional vocal performance by Magenta. The superb duo Boyan & Boyer provide two remixes. Their main remix is a powerful hybrid of progressive trance with house, electro and tech influences in other words a stunning big room version that elevates the track into the next level ready for heavy and unstoppable usage on the dancefloor. Phil Taylor reshapes the track into an uplifting beauty that any vocal uplifting trance lover will fell big time in love with it. Banging, driving, energetic and very sensitive at the same time. Acid layers married perfectly with gorgeous synths with absolute highlight the mindblowing breakdown. Danny Stubbs remix is a deep electro prog trance affair that is light, tripping and extremely delicate with Magenta winning our hearts once more. Klangstein remix is a chill out version that will make you feel like liquid perfect for any Cafe del Mar compilation. Wide variety of versions for a romantic EDM love song. Love IT!
