REVIEW: Lexvaz & JJ Mullor - Hot Hot Hot EP out on Wildlife

Lexvaz and J.J.Mullor make their debut on the Wildlife imprint with their new EP featuring the tracks “Hot, Hot, Hot” and “Give Me Your Mind”.

Lexvaz a.k.a. Alex Brujas AKA is the side project of the band Stereoskop. Alex Brujas is also the founder of STKM Studio, a multimedia platform where he produces and masters his work. Lexvas was the driving force behind the New Order Club in Madrid where he had his residency for many years. His output moves between minimal, tech house and deep house and so far resulted in hits like "Dark River", "I Believe" and his "Promise EP".

J.J. Mullor hails from Spain and performs in the country's best clubs. He also performed at major venues such as BCM Planet Dance (Palma de Mallorca), Spook Club (Valencia) and shared the stage with renown deejays at major events of international stature, like for instance, Cirque Du Soleil. His very first release entitled "Guiter Dialogue" was supported by many DJs and radio stations worldwide, peaking at 34 of the progressive house top 100 on Beatport.

Both cuts in the EP, “Hot, Hot, Hot” and “Give Me Your Mind”, fit well in a funky house live set and easily compare with the sound from known labels like Defected and Subliminal. Lexvaz and J.J. Mullor have given all DJs two sure shot hit singles, tailor made for this summer’s beach- and pool parties.



Dimitri Kechagias review: The superb djs and producers Lexvaz & JJ Mullor  from Spain bring some sun and mediterranean flavor on the Wildlife imprint of Black Hole recordings from Netherlands. Their EP includes two great tech house tracks with unique flavors and colours perfect for some tasty and delicious party games on the dancefloors. Hot Hot Hot is a tribal tech house affair with chunky beats, guitar licks, and funky basslines that work together perfectly to lead us on the breakdown that a wonky synthy lead is revealed for some hands in the air feel good party rock action. Give Me Your Mind is an equally banging fat stompin tech house groover  with female vocal line, choped vocals and latin fruit punch sounds to take you on a nice summery trip. Two great tracks to raise the pressure and add some smile in your face. House is all about feeling and these two talented producers have endless love for this style of music. Love IT!
