His exceptional track How You Make Me Smile is just a small example of the huge talent that is Jody Wisternoff. Within an age that there is around so much noise and sometimes just for the shake of it, its refreshing and hopeful to listen tracks like How You Make Me Smile. Soulful, blissful, moody, old school but so modern as well, with jazzy undertones, dub influences, and melodramatic strings in the breakdown is packed with emotions. The lyrics are simple and anyone can identify with them easily and sing a long. His performance sounds old schoolish but in a very delicate and creative way. The result is a track that is so sensitive, heartfelt and touching and evoking a certain cinematic atmosphere as well. Jody once again delivers the fruits and if you feel in a dub mood there is a non vocal version as well for you. Looking forward for the remixes. Adore IT!
