REVIEW: Cold Blue - The Pessimist(Original/Radio edit) on Moster Tunes

1-Original mix
2-Radio edit

Our favourite German producer, Cold Blue, follows up the block rocking 'Coconut', as championed by the legendary Paul Oakenfold and bootlegged by Gabriel & Dresden, with an impressive double header of two expertly crafted productions, relative to each other yet standing out on their own as individual singles, which is how we are bringing these to you, the discerning music lover!

Showcasing his array of ideas, Cold Blue gives us two alternatives of a melodic theme, 'The Pessimist' being the first example of the two. A dark and moody affair with rumbling, techy basslines, short, sharp melodic motif's, which build up into a foray of percussion and intense synth action, as the track takes off at the pinnacle moment.

This is tech-trance at its finest and certainly right on the money with the first instalment of this twin release, sure to be a must have with the trance elite!

Watch out for 'The Optimist', following up very soon!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The exceptional German trance producer Cold Blue returns on the very hot and classic UK based  trance label Monster Tunes with his strangely named track The Pessimist. Cold Blue provides for the dancefloors his superb production that is firm & tightly produced and combines many great elements from wide variety of  trance substyles. The Pessimist is an euphoric Big Room progressive trancer with deep basslines, dark atmosphere and bouncy banging tech trance style beats. The track in its first small breakdown introduce the main melodic theme and the more ravey influenced synthy riff just to tempt the clubbers. Then carries on really bouncy and booming  and lands on the main breakdown that the warm melancholic and quite melodramatic piano melody will capture your attention for sure. The intense build up lead us on the breakdown that the huge swirling synths along with the techy beats will create a very dark and at the same time very uplifting atmosphere. Top release once again tailor made for heavy clubfloor use in the coming months. Love IT!
